I love stories of apartment interiors. I'm all in. Excited to see the mystery evolve out of these antique drawers. That immersive narration is just tops, Silvio.

Thank you, Kate! Yes, apartment interiors and the mysteries they contain fascinate me too. That could be a series in itself: Stories of Apartment Interiors. A bit like the Train Stories we talked about a while ago. I’m so glad you liked this!

Yes absolutely!

My PhD had a particular focus on apartment spaces. I’ve got a podcast on it in a few weeks 🤗 Will have to link back to this story.

Love this beginning! Can’t wait to hear which way it goes, voting for a big hug from Mrs Fontana in the end.

Thank you! Who knows which direction this will take. A sequel won’t be immediate, though. I like to leave things open! And there’s no hurry. I’m glad you like it!

Thank you so much, Rose! I also have a gift of leaving things unfinished, apparently! But this one will have a follow up (I hope). :)

Of course, this is written beautifully with such great imagery I can see it in my head. But also I found myself so curious to know what was happening. I couldn’t help but read the whole thing. Can’t wait to see how this goes!

"but once they were done and placed it back, nobody has been able to move it again. It’s as if it’s cemented in place, irremovable. Not only that, no one could open any of its drawers..."

Yes, yes, yes yes yes Silvio! This is the fulcrum of this piece, the moment wherein it pivots.

Glorious, brilliant as ever, sends tingles down my spine and what a cliffhanger ending! Do hurry up with part 2, but of course take your time 😉 I just want to peer into those drawers, too.

Masterful!

Thank you, Nathan! I'm captivated by the kindness of your words, every time. You know how it is: stories like this reveal themselves as you write them, magically and mysteriously. So, I'm curious myself about where this is going to take me. I'm glad you like it, and yes, you nailed it -- that’s the pivotal point of the story! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
