This once again has a Murakami-esque voice, taking aspects of the mundane but giving them a twist of phrasing to make you smile or question or pause to ponder something you'd never considered.
I am a big fan of dreams and thinking of what, if anything, they mean. I tend to go through phases of having really intense dreams. Perhaps I'll give fasting a go and see if it makes a difference ;)

When I can incorporate these two, I feel a certain satisfaction, no matter how effective to the reader. Dreams contain both. I too have been on a quest to understand more about dreams.
